whoa just reading through these comments going “oh i wish i could get into ice fishing” and then i read about FFA speaking contests and all i got to say is thank god we have some FFA people in Generation Wild and if you do do Speaking Contests, good luck!

Turkeyman- Yeah once you get a vexilar you cant fish without it, there are pretty exspensive but they are well worth the money. My vexilar was given to me from my uncle, but i did some research and the vexilars range from a little under 300 dollars to about 500 dollars, it really depends on how much bells and whistles you want.

Nate—great video! Good tips, good instruction, and you caught a few fish to show us how it’s done (that’s the first largemouth I’ve seen caught while ice fishing). Well done. . .

Believe it or not, I’ve never ice fished before. I planned on giving it a shot this year, but the weather is working in my favor this year. If, when I make it on the ice, there’s a good chance I’m going to rack your brain about what to do!
