Info about the joys of playing outside for writers who’d rather be doing just that.

Today’s kids spend a lot less time outside in unstructured play than you probably did growing up. On average, they spend only four to seven minutes for the whole day. That’s all. And that’s not nearly enough time for them to experience the incredible health and fitness benefits that are right outside their doors.

But we’re going to change that. Generation Wild was created by Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) to reconnect kids with nature. And we’re excited that you are interested in helping us get the message out to parents and families.

That’s why we’ve prepared resources to help you do just that.
